We've gathered the most common questions to help you prepare for your visit to BIRCH STONE SPA. If you have any further inquiries about our home-based spa services, please don't hesitate to reach out.

How can I book an appointment at Birch Stone Spa?

The best way to book your appointment is through email at birchstonespa@outlook.com 

We aim to respond promptly to all booking requests for our services.

Hours of operation

Operating hours are may vary throughout the year. Please contact for current availability.

Bookings requested outside of regular business hours may be accommodated for an additional fee.

 

What if I need to cancel, reschedule, or am running late?

Please call us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We appreciate at least 24 hours notice. If you are running a bit late, a quick text will help us adjust and ensure you still receive the full benefit of your treatment, or advise if rescheduling is necessary.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.

No-shows and last minute cancellations do not allow us adequate time to fill the space with a client from our waitlist. This results in lost income for your local small business. 
Exceptions may apply during extreme weather conditions such as heavy snowfall warnings, freezing rain warnings, or storm warnings.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available and must be presented at the time of your appointment. They are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash denomination.

 

 

Are there specific instructions for visiting your home-based spa?

This is an appointment-only spa. Walk-ins are not available at this time.

 

 

Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

First-time clients must complete a health profile before their appointment.

Upon arrival, entry is through the door with business signage. This is an appointment-only, home-based spa. 

 

Special instructions for services

Please ensure you arrive with clean skin if you're receiving a facial, dermaplaning, or waxing service for the best results.

Please come to your eyelash appointment eye-makeup-free. Eyelashes require proper care and cleaning before each appointment. We can provide everything you will need if you would like to do this yourself, arrive in time to allow makeup to be removed before your appointment.

 

Payments
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept E-Transfer at this time.

 

 

How We Clean Our Tools
All tools are carefully cleaned after every client. Implements are scrubbed and soaked for 20 minutes in Accel C20, a Health Canada–registered sterilant and high-level disinfectant.
Disposable buffers and single-use items are always discarded after each service. Each area is thoroughly wiped clean with PREempt RTU between each guest. 

 

 

Service changes

Add-on services must be selected at the time of booking and cannot be guaranteed if requested on the day of your appointment. This ensures we can provide a seamless spa experience.
